We baptise (christen) children as part of our morning worship, usually at the 11am service on the 2nd Sunday of the month. Normally, we baptise up to two children on any one occasion with the service lasting about an hour.
In order to comply with the Health Guidelines, we are now conducting baptisms as a small separate ceremony at 1pm.
We encourage everyone who wants to arrange a baptism to worship with us; before the baptism, we want to get to know you at St Barnabas’; and afterwards, we want to help you fulfil the promises you will make as part of the baptism service and develop an active faith as part of our community.
